Gadgets and Scripts
[edit]Gadgets: Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-gadgets
Scripts: Wikipedia:User_scripts/sandbox
- User:Paleorthid/common.js TW is not setup yet, is where I would install User talk:GregU/dashes.js. This tool will fix hyphens, dashes, and minus signs per MOS:DASH.
- User:Paleorthid/huggle.css Huggle is is a diff browser intended for dealing with vandalism and other unconstructive edits — see WP:HUG. I don't use and I should delete.
- User:Paleorthid/monobook.css CSS for the monobook skin. The accompanying .js page for this skin is at User:Paleorthid/monobook.js
- User:Paleorthid/monobook.js TW JavaScript for the monobook skin — see MediaWiki:Monobook.js. The accompanying .css page for this skin is at User:Paleorthid/monobook.css. Testing of skins can be done on your personal common.js. Paleorthid uses a script from User:Pilaf~enwiki/InstaView. Pilaf, the developer of this script, has been inactive since 2006. In 2016 the user moved to User:Pilaf~enwiki without leaving a redir.
InstaView is a nifty extension to Mediawiki's edit mode which can generate instantaneous previews (thus the name) of the wiki-text being edited. As far as I can tell it is not working. I don't use and I should delete.
- User:Paleorthid/twinkleoptions.js I use this for my Twinkle preferences. I change them using the Twinkle preferences panel, or by editing this page. Twinkle is a popular JavaScript Wikipedia gadget that gives autoconfirmed registered users many extra options to assist them in common Wikipedia maintenance tasks and to help them deal with acts of vandalism or unconstructive edits. It provides users with three types of rollback functions and includes a full library of speedy deletion functions, user warnings and welcomes, maintenance tags, semi-automatic reporting of vandals, and more. See Wikipedia:Twinkle/doc
- User:Paleorthid/vector.css. The accompanying .js page for this skin is at User:Paleorthid/vector.js. Script is supposedly from MediaWiki:Vector.css—a very active page—but it looks so different!
- User:Paleorthid/vector.js TW The accompanying .css page for this skin is at User:Paleorthid/vector.css. Import script is importScript('User:Shubinator/DYKcheck.js'); //DYKcheck tool
