Epidata Consulting is an Argentine Software Architecture company, the first of its kind in Latin America. Focused on being able to incorporate IT into a company's business plan, it has grown consistently since its foundation in 2003, to become the market leader in Argentina.
Epidata Consulting uses new technologies such as Java, .NET, Ruby, PHP and Flex for their client and web applications.
History
[edit]Epidata Consulting was founded in 2003 by Valerio Adrián Anacleto, Joaquin Ricardo Hernández and Claudio Desalvo. The term “Epidata” means “Above the data” in Ancient Greek, used in this context to imply "going the extra mile".
With headquarters in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Epidata has also recently opened an office in Santiago, Chile[1]. It has clients in over 10 countries, ranging from Mexico and the USA to Spain, France and India[2].
Epidata Consulting provides services of Consulting, Training and Mentoring, offering integral solutions to corporate systems according to the needs of all of its clients. These practices can help with the early detection of problems and risks, meaning better profitability.
Partnerships
[edit]Epidata Consulting recently formed a partnership with Ubuntu, becoming the first Solution Provider partner in Argentina.[3]
Epidata also counts Red Hat - JBoss, Oracle, BEA Systems, Sparx Systems and Sun Microsystems amongst its partners.
