S. Jithesh, popularly known as Dr. Jitheshji,[1] is an internationally acclaimed performing speed cartoonist and former Vice-Chairman of Kerala Cartoon Academy. Jitheshji is considered as the father of Speed Cartooning since he has initiated and popularised 'Speed Cartooning' and 'Super-Speedy Cartooning' through his infotainment cartoon stage shows named Varayarangu.[2] His infotainment art form, Varayarangu, is a blend of poetry, anecdotes, and socio-political satire with high speed drawing. Sketching of more than thousand celebrity caricatures at a quick pace and satirical commentary is the major attraction of his cartoon stage shows.[3] He is recognised as the "World's Fastest Performing Cartoonist" since his ability to speed sketch fifty celebrity caricatures within five minutes.[4][5][6][7] Jitheshji is the first Keralite who received more than 20 million plus views on Instagram for his unique art performance. Dr. Jitheshji is recognized as a world wonder in the fields of speed sketch and memory. He is particularly renowned for his exceptional abilities as a speed performing cartoonist. Additionally, he was a celebrity speaker at the TEDx event at KIIT University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, on 10 August 2024. His birthday is on 30 December. Dr. Jitheshji is a unique individual with exceptional skills. Here's a summary of his abilities: He is widely recognized as the Super memorizer with the ability to recall over 100,000 pieces of information from memory He is also known as the 'History Man of India' for his ability to recall the historic importance of: 366 days (every day of the year, including leap year) and 300+ years of history. He can recall this information from memory within a chatbot's speed Dr. Jitheshji's skills are truly remarkable, and his ability to recall vast amounts of historical information from memory is unparalleled. His name has been asked frequently in Public Service Examination Questionnaire. He has travelled more than 20 nations to perform his infotainment Speed Cartoon Performance and Pictorial Oration. Personal life
[edit]He was born on 30 December 1974 at Pandalam in Pathanamthitta District as the son of K. N. Somasekharan Nair and M. Remani Amma.[11] He graduated with a LL.B degree and an M.A in English Literature and a D. Litt: (US). He is married to Unnimaya and father of two children.[12]
