The organization stands firm in the belief that all individuals, regardless of their geographic location or socioeconomic status, should have access to high-quality education. A central objective of Striving For All is to combat the rampant illiteracy in developing countries. This is accomplished through enhancements to existing educational infrastructure and by empowering educators to inspire an enduring love of learning, advance knowledge, and ultimately, fortify communities.
Thus, the organization is committed to improving community life by providing support in areas such as medical care and food provision. Additionally, they strive to raise awareness about issues that could affect the well-being of these communities.
Providing Safety Infrastructure
[edit]Striving For All integrates Safety Infrastructure as one of its obejectives.
For example with the Ukrainian Conflict, it became urgent for people to have a secure environment where they can continuous learning. With the collaboration of the charitable foundation "Creation of the Future", they successfully construct a state-of-the-art bomb shelter at a Kyiv School in Ukraine in July 2023.[1]
Smart Education and Free Training for Youths
[edit]In the same year 2023 a month earlier, but now in Cameroon, Striving For All has inaugurated a Thrive Center in Douala, Cameroon. The primary purpose of that center is to equip 50 teenagers and young adults annually in Cameroon with knowledge about their career development and essential digital skills, enabling them to thrive in an ever-evolving world.[2]
That previous project is like a continuation of others like this one completed a year before in Ukraine, where they have launched a state-of-the-art smart classroom in Chernivtsi on October 15th 2022 for over 700 children.
Schools Renovation
[edit]In addition to creating new educational spaces, Strinving For All also works to improve the existing physical learning environment for students. The organization's Schools Renovation program provides funding and support to schools in need of repairs and upgrades.
On September 04th 2022, the organization successfully restored a Chernihiv school severely damaged by heavy shelling. The school's repair and installation of new windows were completed.
A year earlier, on September 24th 2021, they have renovated five classrooms at Cetic De Zimpouet, a technical high school located in a rural area of Cameroon.[3][4]
Social Actions
[edit]Despite the anglophone crisis, Striving For All made a social action for the local communities during a Back to School Event on September 23rd 2022 in Buea, South West Cameroon. They provided essential school supplies for students like books, school bags ; visually impaired children were not left behind as the also received braille books, styluses, and writing boards. Three local schools have been equipped with modern computers and printers.[5]
On June 03rd 2022, they extended support to more than 100 orphans in southwestern Ukraine, providing them with essential basic needs.
Covid 19
[edit]During the main period of the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020, Striving For All actively participated in relief efforts to combat the crisis by distributing masks, soap and food to vulnerable populations in Cameroon. Additionally, they provided essential personal protective equipment to 10 local clinics and raised awareness about COVID-19 in three cities: Buea, Tonga, and Dschang, Cameroon. [6]
