Defining initial purpose:
I would like to help improve some of the song articles, specifically popular/jazz standards. In the past week, I have been researching (half-heartedly skimming articles on) the songs in my jazz trio's repertoire. The Wikipedia articles one the songs I've reviewed so far have been less consistent and of generally lower quality than the articles I typically read here (science, mathematics, politics, history, etc.). Musicians can do better, consarnit.
A first step: the addition of a parenthesis.
