About Me
[edit]Hi, I am Nbess996 and I am new to the Wikipedia World. I joined to write a page for a project in my media course. This is my second year at University of Ottawa where I am majoring in Communications. The course I am taking is called Theories of Media where we learn about the relevant theories used in media, issues in communication and ways to analyze the way media affects our everyday lives. It is an interesting course that allows us to view media's look at the world and the way they approach certain problems of the world. My professor has an interesting way of teaching where he uses social media to interact with his students, for example he has a Tumblr page and a Twitter account.
Back to me, I love playing sports and going to the gym. Being physically and emotionally healthy is very important to me especially since university is so demanding. Who knows what I will be doing 10 years from now, but one thing I do know for certain is I want to take a year off after completing my undergraduate degree to travel the world. No idea what tomorrow will bring, but I will allow my feet and curiosity to guide me.
