Helge Haugen (born 25 February 1957)[1] is a Norwegian former footballer who played for Start between 1978 and 1991, except for a short tenure in Odds BK. He won the Norwegian Premier League with Start in 1978 and 1980.
Football career
[edit]Haugen played for Start between 1978 and 1991, and was a part of the team managed by Karsten Johannessen that won the Norwegian Premier League in 1978 and 1980.
After the 1986 season he announced his intention to leave Start.[2] He was a part of the Odds BK roster for the 1987 season.[1] By the summer of 1988 he moved back to Kristiansand and somewhat later left Odd, citing motivational reasons.[3]
