Biography

Timothy Flint was born to William and Mary Kimball Flint of North Parish, Reading, Massachusetts. He was baptized in the local meeting house on July 23, 1780. Although his birth date was not recorded, the most probable and accepted date was July 11. His family had lived on a farm near North Parish for several generations.[1](p.21)

Flint entered Harvard in 1796 and graduated in 1800.[1](p. 31)
