Welcome to my user page.

I've chosen this name from fu fu kung (lying tiger exercises) where one of the exercises causes you to leap through the air like a frog. Kung Fu means the ability to do hard work. And it seems fitting to call any of my life's work by that name.

My interests are computer science, bioinformatics, creating music, oriental arts and teaching. I like the academic rigor of school and the physical rigor of various Qi Qong arts. That has led me into distributed fault-tolerant computing, gene hunting, informatics, creating musical albums, and seeking out patterns of health and healing using movement, food, lifestyle, acupuncture, and natural substances -- that is, those in harmony with nature's own designs.
