Articles[edit]Articles I created[edit]XTools - Very nice tool, but has what I consider a to be bug: I am shown as the creator of pages which I created as a redirect and which another editor replaced with an article The Beatles & related[edit]

Rewrites/very major edits[edit]These are articles which I didn't start myself, but where I made major edits almost as though I began the article myself.
Major edits[edit]
KLF articles[edit]I've worked on (I think) all of the articles within the scope of WP:KLF and have all of them watchlisted.
Articles by quality[edit]
My user page shows the number of articles I have helped promoted to GA status. I will increment that number each time I help with the promotion of another. I will not decrement it if an article is demoted nor increment it if a demoted article is subsequenly re-promoted. Here is the list of those articles, where I was a or the major contributor, excluding the 3 GA articles which later became FAs:
WP:KLF GAs/former GAs not claimed by me as mostly the work of User:Vinoir:
("Delisted" with no further comment from me means I have no intention at the current time to rectify/renominate) Did you know?[edit]
Categories I created[edit]Includes Category:Apple Corps, Category:The KLF / Category:Jimmy Cauty / Category:Bill Drummond, Category:The Shamen, Category:Cheltenham, Category:Tewkesbury, Category:Parlophone, and subcategories of those; plus Category:John Peel. I have also undertaken major revamps of Category:Gloucestershire and Category:South Gloucestershire. I've now created too many categories to bother listing them. Project space[edit]
Esoteric templates[edit]Created[edit]
Major work[edit]Created, but not esoteric[edit]
Image uploads[edit]A lot of images I uploaded very early in my editing career were album covers and the like and were deleted as part of the great non-free-content purge in the late 2000s. I surveyed my deleted edits in the File namespace in February 2020 and (note to self) propose to not do it again: Unfortunately, consensus and policy appears to rule out the use of album cover images in discographies, unless there is extensive critical commentary, so those deletions were fair even if I don't agree with the policy (Wikipedia will never become the "Encyclopedia of popular music" I hoped it would be, so it doesn't really matter, and we have Discogs.com if we want to see album covers). I'm not so happy with the deterioration of The KLF. Many of the other deleted images were replaced or moved to Commons or simply don't qualify for use here on Wikipedia today. |
