User:K6ka/Why did you revert my edit?
If you are reading this, it is likely because I have undone one of your edits for a particular reason.
First off, no, your edits have not been deleted. They are still publicly visible in the page history, and your hard work is not lost.
Please read the edit summary provided in my edit. It will usually contain "Reverted edits by <username>" or something of the like, and then an explanation after that. That explanation is why I reverted your edit. If I wrote "see talk", I am referring you to a discussion on the article talk page, or on your own user talk page. Check those pages for further details. If nothing shows up, be patient as I might be writing it.
If you don't see an explanation after my edit summary, it's probably because I have determined your edit to be unconstructive, or another reason where it may be appropriate to use this function.
In all cases, please have a reason ready if you wish to revert my edit, and provide that reason in the edit summary, or put it on my talk page. A failure or lack of communication is the reason why simple issues become senseless brawls. Always be civil, avoid personal attacks, and assume good faith, even when you are furious. If this is not possible, a walk in the park or some time off the computer is a must before coming back to write your message.
If in doubt, or if you have questions, or if you feel that my revert was made in error, contact me.
