chargeMOD was established in 2019 by M Ramanunni, V Anoop, Advaith C, and Chris Thomas. Initially focused on electric bikes, they shifted focus to EV charging stations to address the growing need for infrastructure in India.

chargeMOD offers several EV charging solutions, including:

  • AC Slow Chargers: Suitable for residential and commercial use, providing overnight charging.
  • DC Fast Chargers: Designed for public stations, offering faster charging.
  • Ultra-Fast Chargers: With capacities from 120 kW to 340 kW.

Users can locate nearby stations, initiate charging, and monitor progress via the chargeMOD mobile app.

Coverage

As of 2024, chargeMOD operates over 2,000 stations across 10 Indian states, including over 1,500 in Kerala.[1]

Partnerships and Collaborations

In June 2024, chargeMOD partnered with Statiq, Hyundai, and GLIDA to integrate 5,000 chargers.[2]

Recognition and Achievements
