Collection Facilitator for Art, York Museums Trust
Creativity takes courage - Henri Matisse
About me
I live with my husband and golden retriever Rufus who I like to take on long walks in the countryside. Being a fan of all things museum, gallery and archive related I regularly visit local institutions as well as cooking, reading and trying to make my own clothes. Art, the English Country House, Fashion History and Ceramics are my topics of choice.
My work
My role with York Museums Trust is to work with the Curator of Ceramics and the Curator of Art Learning to help with the displays and interpretation of the new Centre of Ceramic Art (CoCA) and to ensure that the art gallery's collections are more accessible to the general public. I want to encourage more research and celebration of British studio pottery.
