Neil Martin is an Irish multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and television presenter[1] from Belfast, Northern Ireland. He is a member of West Ocean String Quartet.[1]
Early life
[edit]Neil was born in Belfast and attended primary school at a Christian Brothers' school on Antrim Road in north Belfast. While at school, Martin was introduced to the cello, while his uncle Tomás Ó Canainn, introduced him to the uilleann pipes. At the age of 14, Neil attended workshops with master piper Liam O'Flynn.[1]
