Re:Starcraft
[edit]Sure. I've never played the game, but I'll try to use my RTS knowledge and what I know about the game to help. I suppose I'll just start doing it when I get a chance. Oh and BTW, wow.--Clyde (talk) 13:18, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- I just found this place [1], maybe we could transwiki some stuff to there.--Clyde (talk) 04:01, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well I think it would be best to put some tags to decide what needs to be merged or redirected. Maybe Template:gameguide or Template:In-universe. The we could try to merge some other stuff. Maybe make a list of Starcraft characters, list of starcraft locations, and move the factions into their respective species. Once we do that, we can try to remove cruft, unsourced, or non-notable stuff, and then see what we can do about the stacraft universe related articles. But I'm too tired to start until tommorow (whenever that is for you). Til then, Clyde (talk) 04:44, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Hyphens and colons
[edit]Hey, I just wanted to open a friendly discourse on the merits of using hyphens/colons specifically in the case of the Compilation titles. Do you have any strong feeling on the issue, aside from the professional appeal of colons? Axem Titanium 22:02, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- I see. On the other hand, would you say that inventing a colon for use on Wikipedia would be appropriate in this case? Axem Titanium 22:20, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- Stylistic issues aside, does Square Enix's own stance on the issue have any bearing? Axem Titanium 22:30, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- Last item about this issue I'll personally bother you with, I swear. Dirge of Cerberus Lost Episode -Final Fantasy VII-. WTF? What do you suggest about this one? Two colons? A colon and then hyphens? I seriously don't know, although its current title is the one supported by Square Enix. Axem Titanium 21:39, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

regarding Rise of Legends
[edit]Hey Deck I was doing some work creating the Heroes in Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends, and I was wondering what to do with this template now that it isn't needed. Template:Rise of Legends--Clyde (talk) 03:53, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Re:Tenses
[edit]Cool. I'm on the home stretch with just a few more minor characters and the merchandise to copyedit. If I see any more tense issues, I'll fix them too. Axem Titanium 04:43, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Re: Editing other users' comments
[edit]- Whoops! I was correcting some typos and mostly spelling errors on a user's comment and did not realize that the typos were discouraged. My fault! I was irked by the user's spelling errors and didn't like the way the user's comment looked on FF10's talk page. I actually removed some parts, because it takes ages to download. You were trying to save me unnecessary work and you are pointing out a not well-known, but a strongly enforced policy on Wikipedia. I could archive, but I don't have the time to do it, unfortunately and I am removing some stuff. If you can contact me as soon as possibl, that would be greatly appreciated. I am really doing my best as usual! :D Deckiller, Thanks for the help and happy birthday. Regards and best wishes Sjones23 22:58, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

With 6 (soon to be 7) video game FAs, 5 copyedits of FAs, and 8 (soon to be 9) GAs, you deserve quite a few more than 2 VG Barnstars. --PresN 17:44, 26 March 2007 (UTC) |
Far Cry
[edit]Hey, have you listened to Rush's single Far Cry from their new album? Pretty good stuff. There's a clip of it on their website [5] MahangaTalk to me 02:05, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
FA push
[edit]FF5 and 9 are the only non-FA's that I've played, I don't have a ps2 or an emulator that will run it so I can't read 12's article, much less edit it. I plan on looking for some sources for FF2 next, as I don't plan on playing it, but I might go through the FF Anthology and FF9 Brady Guides and post some sort of index thing for them on my User:PresN/FFGuides page first, and go try to help one of them later on. All of this work on FF pages is exciting, I wasn't expecting it until school got out. --PresN 02:33, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- We have so many targets, it's great. Chars of FF8, FFXII, A FF8 FT, FF9, the whole cruft removal project... great stuff. --PresN 02:37, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for reverting the vandalism on my userpage

Monobook Problems
[edit]Hi, Tyler. I really want to ask you about couple things that appears on my monobook. First, I created monobook about 6 months ago. But I haven't check my monobook for long time ago. When I check my monobook today, this message <If a message on your talk page led you here, please be wary of who left it. The code below could contain malicious content capable of compromising your account; if your account appears to be compromised, it will be blocked. If you are unsure of whether the code is safe, you can ask at the help desk.> appears on my monobook. Is there any reason this message(warning?) appears on my monobooks? Could you explain what does this warning means on my monobooks? I hope you can understand my messages, please reply in my talk page. Cheers! Daniel5127 | Talk 05:38, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

GAC
[edit]Thanks for cutting down the list in the Games section of GAC. (and especially for passing Oblivion!) If I have time, I'll review at least some of the three holding Music of FF8 from the top of the list later on today. Like before though, I'd rather not review an FF article unless it sits there for a long time, as I'm pretty biased. --PresN 17:47, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
