I am new to Wikipedia, but not to Scouting. Still trying to learn about how to use this site, so please bear with me as I learn. I am an Eagle Scout, Class of 1969, out of Charter Oak Council, Hartford, Connecticut. I was inducted into the Order of the Arrow in 1968 in Wipunquoak Lodge 558. I kept the vigil in 1975 in Eluwak Lodge 59, Long Rivers Council, and was given the Vigil name Tgaucshu, meaning Mild One. I went through Wood Badge in 1981 in SC-189, hosted by Three Rivers Council, Texas and earned my beads in 1983. I have been a volunteer Scouter my entire adult life and am currently serving in the following positions: Troop Committee Member and Scoutmaster-elect, Troop 306, Yorktown, Virginia; Wicomico Chapter Advisor, Wahunsenakah Lodge 333, Colonial Virginia Council; and Contingent Advisor for Colonial Virginia Council's 2007 Philmont Contingent. I have been a Scout historian, focused on the six states of New England (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island) for more than three decades.
