Marcolin is an Italian eyewear manufacturing company headquartered in Longarone that designs, produces and distributes luxury eyewear products.

In 1999, after Dolce & Gabbana announced buying a 6% stake in Marcolin,[1] the company started to produce Roberto Cavalli's eyewear.[2] In 2001, the company opened its corporate headquarters in Milan.[3] When Tom Ford left Gucci and created his eponymous brand, he signed a licencing deal with Marcolin to produce the new brand's eyewear.[4]

In September 2010, Marcolin inaugurated a new 12,000 square feet factory next to its headquarters in Longarone.[5]

In 2017, Marcolin and the French luxury group LVMH co-founded Thélios, a LVMH-driven eyewear manufacturer. It started as an exclusive partnership and LVMH acquired 10% of Marcolin.[6] The executive vice-chairman of Marcolin Giovanni Zoppas was appointed CEO of Thélios.[7] Its first manufacturing plant, the Thélios Manifattura, was inaugurated in May 2018 in Longarone[8] and the construction of a second factory started in February 2019.[9] In December 2021, LVMH bought Marcolin's 49% participation in Thélios, becoming the sole owner of the eyewear company, and making Thélios a fully integrated division of LVMH.[10][11]

In June 2020, Fabrizio Curci was named CEO of Marcolin,[12] replacing Massimo Renon.[13]
