Article Evaluation
Everything in the article is relevant to the article topic.
The only thing that was distracting or caught my attention right away was a picture depicting a combat in 1540s.
The article is based on history. It does not appear that anything is out of date.
I added information in the France- Judicial combat of 1386 section based on information obtained from a source mentioned above.
I believe more information could be added in reference to the United States section of the article. That section appears to be short and could be elaborated on.
I did not find that the article was biased toward a particular position. It appeared to be neutral with proper citations and information to back up the information provided.
It appears that most of the article is based on European countries. With most of the history and events taking place in that area of the world it is understandable that, that particular area is the focus point. I would be interested to learn about other countries and see if they also had a similar way of dealing with legal issues.
The citations appear to support the claims in the article. I believe the information to be from reliable references. A lot of the information appears to come from the Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia. I believe the sources seem to be neutral.
The conversations consist of what anyone would want to know in learning about Trial by Combat. When did the last trial by combat take place? Another sub point was that others would gather that trial by combat took place in other parts of the world that are not documented on the page.
The article is rated a C class and is apart of the WikiProject Law. I must not be understand this last question. I do not see how it is any different.
