Arzu Baghirova (Azerbaijani: Arzu Bağırova; born 11 December 1980) is apublic figure and businesswoman. She is the chairman of the Regional Legal and Economic Awareness Public Union (RLEA PU), the organizer of many social events related to awareness on various topics, and the project leader.[1][2]

Biography

Bagirova Arzu Zakir gizi was born on December 11, 1980 in the city of Sumgait. She started his secondary education in Sumgayit and finished it in Bedalan village of Masalli district. After graduating from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a Bachelor's degree in Law, she received a Master's degree in Public Administration from the same university.

She is married. He has 4 children and 2 grandchildren.

Activity

Arzu Bagirova has been working in the private sector since 2005. Currently, she is the founder of the Beautiful Life Center.[3] Arzu Baghirova is known for her active work with the families of martyrs and veterans, as well as with physically disabled persons, lonely, elderly, low-income families.[4][5][6][7] She contributed to the publishing of the first books of dozens of young writers and the organization of the first exhibitions and creative evenings of dozens of young artists. She supported dozens of women living in the regions to start their first entrepreneurial activities.[8] She donated thousands of books to regional libraries to increase reading among schoolchildren. She is the chairwoman of the Regional Legal and Economic Awareness Public Union (RLEA PU).[9]

In 2019, with the support of RLEA chairwoman Azru Baghirova, within the framework of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the anthology of poems "Light piercing the darkness" consisting of the poems of those people with the aim of supporting the creativity of visually impaired people and introducing them to the society, to stimulate them for future success "Homeland, flag, nation" books and book-albums have been published.[10]

In the same year, she has supported numerous activities, such as the publication of the book "Kyzilgaya Eagle" dedicated to the martyr Orkhan Hummatov and the project of the same name, the film "Ali zirvesi" dedicated to the memory of the National Hero of Azerbaijan Ali Mustafayev, the book "Eight Days in an Armenian Prison" about the historical facts of the Khojaly genocide and the event of the same name, the book "Epic of Pride" dedicated to the memory of the National Hero of Azerbaijan Safiyar Behbudov, the novel "Commander" dedicated to the martyr of the April battles, scout, lieutenant colonel Raguf Orujov, and the book "Manifesto of Martyrdom" dedicated to the Masalli martyrs who died during the Karabakh war.[11][12]

Arzu Baghirova takes active part in educating children. She has supported the implementation of projects such as "National Revival Day" and "Role of intellectuals in developing the spirit of patriotism in children" in various schools. Thousands of books were donated to schoolchildren in the framework of "Stay at home, read a book" project initiated by her.[13]

The publication and presentation of the books "Women in history" (3 volumes)", "Japan, step-by-step", "Love takes you to God" and other books by MP Ganira Pashayeva, chairman of the culture committee of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, were  conducted by the PU of Eurasian Institute of International Studies and Arzu Baghirova, chairman of the PU of Regional Legal and Economic Education.[12]

Arzu Baghirova stands out for her active work in the protection of women's rights. The project "Let's say NO to violence against women and domestic violence" was implemented with her support.[13]

The book “Dolma in the Azerbaijani cuisine. 381 recipes", republished with Arzu Baghirova’s support was awarded the title of the best cookery book at the World Gourmet Award Exhibition.[14]

She was awarded with the honorary diploma of the Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Friendship Society for the development of literary relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, activities in the direction of research and promotion of Uzbek literature, as well as the development of friendly relations between nations In September 2021.[15]

She was awarded with the honorary decree by the head of Absheron District Executive Power for her activities in Absheron district, and by the head of Masalli District Executive Power for the important projects she implemented in Masalli district in October 2021.[16]
