[edit]- -Eagle (heraldry); adding a part for the Arab States Heraldry
The Arab League as you describe was originally the Unired Arab Republic. That gruop saw Syria exit from its membership, and that's the reason for Russia's loyality to Syria. The UAR was an alliance against the USSR who had been dominating the region. Wikipedia has distorted the history of the facts as I know them. As a stamp collector. What should I do with my UAR stamps? Named them Arab League stamps? Is it any wonder why the Obama administration, and the U.S. State Department haven't a clue as to what they are doing in the Middle East, and Africa.
