  • Countered by the common move Zen Headbutt.
  • Walled by Dragonites with Hurricane.
  • Soft-countered by the big grasses.
  • Inefficent against fire.
  • Despite higher DEF stat, still as a weaker Machamp due to weaker moves.

Espeon Confusion/FS
  • Outputs a ton of STAB damage to poison and fighting Pokémon.
  • Good against Muk and Machamp.
  • Bad for dodgers.
  • Most fighting and poison Pokémon are usually unviable in the gyms.

Donphan Counter/Earthquake
  • Strong against Tyranitar.
  • Typing is unviable for defense, despite its high CP.
  • Not excel at other match-ups.
  • High CP makes it an inefficent prestiger.
21.785 29.7 19.829 17.701 2084 3.235 3.327 11.515 14.815 1
Blissey Pound/HB
  • Having the highest base stamina stat in the game, dodging isn't really necessary.
  • A great combination of moves.
  • A low total damage output makes battle time longer due to its disappointly low base attack stat.
  • Must spam as many attacks as you can before the time runs out.

Snorlax Lick/HB
  • Outputs a great amount of DPS, and lasts enough to launch several HBs before fainting.
  • Lick is immuned by normal.
  • Both charge moves (Body Slam and Hyper Beam) are immuned by ghost, which takes super effective damage from Lick.
  • As a generalist, however, struggles against many common defenders like Rhydon.
14.808 (4 Lick 113 HB 38 BS) 36.4 13.116 13.8 1448 1.749 1 11.209 10.330
Lick/BS
  • A decent moveset for dodging.
  • Good for PvP battles, which will come in the near future.
  • BS is a legacy move, so it worths a lot when trading comes.
12.874 42.1 11.710 60.802 1266 1.78 3 9.762 9.074
Dragonite DT/Outrage
  • Has a very good DPS and TDO.
  • One of the best movesets in the current meta.
  • Both moves are slow, bad for dodging.
  • Outrage is considered as risky, despite having 2 bars.
20.166 (7 DB 16 DT 113 Outrage/Hurricane 52 DC) 90.1 13.696
DT/DC
  • Far less risky than Outrage.
  • Benefits good dodgers.
  • The best movesets for Dragonite for dodging.
  • Useful in raids in versions where the dodge bug doesn't exist.
  • Low on DPS.
  • Useless in raids in versions where the dodge bug does exist, since this moveset is probably made for dodgers.
19.269 155.9 13.117
DB/DC 18.807 17.6 13.068
DB/Outrage
  • Pretty high DPS.
  • DB generates energy slower than DT, not a good pair with the quite risky Outrage.
19.754 20.3 13.645
DB/Hurricane
  • Good for players who prefer moves with low cooldown.
  • DB makes Hurricane quite risky.
  • Low on DPS, but not lower than DC movesets.
  • Not very good for raids.
18.947 15.2 13.234
DT/Hurricane
  • DT generates energy faster than DB to make up the 100 energy cost from Hurricane.
  • Still quite risky, not fast enough to use several times during a raid.
19.486 134.3 13.284
Vaporeon WG/AT
  • Good for dodging.
  • The solid movesets that are good being either generalist or specialist.
  • Vaporeon's attack stat is only above average, not enough DPS in raids in most situations.
14.968 15.7 13.531 69.102 1460 2.35 2.3375 9.363 12.357 3

Exeggutor Extrasensory/SoB
  • A generalist attacker into Blissey and Snorlax, performs good by resisting Zen Headbutt.
  • Psychic is resisted by very few common gym Pokémon.
  • Countered by Tyrantiar.
  • Not as efficient as Bullet Seed against Pokémon which has a double weakness to grass.
  • Be aware of Rhydon's Megahorn.
30.735 42.2 28.165 15.8 2841 4.083 12.915 15.095 1
Confusion/SoB 30.878 46.7 28.056 17.501 2977 4.632 12.955 14.604 1
BS/SoB
  • Outperforms Extrasensory and Confusion against Pokémon which has a double weakness to grass.

  • Not very efficient against fighting.

Rhydon MS/Earthquake
  • A solid moveset.
  • Good without dodging.

14.782 (14 MS 109 Earthquake) 45.8 1424 2.257 10.240 13.515
MS/SE
  • Stone Edge can be released safely mostly.
  • Does a higher amount of DPS compared to Earthquake.
  • Stone Edge does a low DPE, and Mud Slap charges Stone Edge slowly.

RS/SE
  • Works better than Mud Slap against Snorlax/Blissey.
  • The most useful moveset for dodgers who use Rhydons.

Jolteon TS/Discharge
TS/Thunderbolt
VS/Thunder
Flareon Ember/Overheat
  • Puts a ton of STAB super effective damage into the 4 big grasses.
  • Having more HP than most glass cannons.
  • Resisting Blissey's Dazzling Gleam makes Flareon a viable attacker against her.
  • Still a medium-low base STA.
  • Its quick moves are pretty good for inefficent dodging.
  • Will likely get killed if not dodging the opponent's charge move.
  • Countered by many common defenders like Vaporeon and Gyarados.
