A U.S. state welcome sign is a road sign at the border, usually on a highway or other major roadway, between two U.S. states. Each welcome sign is unique to the state. They usually contain "Welcome to ______" or "_________ Welcomes You," with features such as shape, illustrations, etc. differing widely.[1][2]
