Tuffnell is a hamlet in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.
History
[edit]The first post office was established in 1907 under the name of Fountain (with Charles Woodhead as postmaster). The name of the community changed to Tuffnell in 1909.[1]
Demographics
[edit]In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Tuffnell had a population of 5 living in 6 of its 9 total private dwellings, a change of -66.7% from its 2016 population of 15. With a land area of 0.17 km2 (0.066 sq mi), it had a population density of 29.4/km2 (76.2/sq mi) in 2021.[2]
