The Party Never Ends is the upcoming fifth and final studio album by American rapper and singer Juice Wrld. It is scheduled to be posthumously released by Grade A Productions and Interscope Records on November 22, 2024.[1]
Background
[edit]Juice Wrld, whose real name was Jarad Anthony Higgins, passed away from a drug-related overdose on December 8, 2019, approximately six months prior to the release of his third studio album, Legends Never Die, on July 10, 2020.[2] As his third posthumous album and fifth overall, this would be his final album to be released.[2]
The title of the album was hinted by Higgins' manager Lil Bibby multiple times. Despite this, the album still had no release date, although it was teased since 2021.[3][4] On February 4, 2023, Higgins' estate announced that the album was in active development.[2]
Promotion
[edit]After giving multiple teasers of the album dropping soon, Lil Bibby and Grade A finally dropped the lead single to The Party Never Ends, "Lace It", featuring American rapper Eminem and American producer Benny Blanco.[5]
A two-track EP, The Pre-Party, featuring a sole guest appearance from American rapper Young Thug, was released on September 9, 2024, as a precursor to the album.[6] Two additional tracks, "Both Ways" and "Cavalier", were released as a part of the extended edition of The Pre-Party.[7]
The album title is a reference to the chorus on his feature on Travis Scott's 2018 song "No Bystanders" (sampled from an unreleased song of Higgins', "Abyss") alongside rapper and Cactus Jack signee Sheck Wes.[8]
