This religious-themed thriller follows Daniel Clemens (Christian Slater), a priest serving as public-relations representative for the Catholic Church, who embarks on an investigation against the will of Church authorities to prove the innocence of a fellow clergyman accused of the murder of a young homosexual prostitute. When the accused is found having committed suicide in prison, with the help from a dedicated reporter (Molly Parker) who was Father Clemens's girl-friend before he became a priest, they begin uncovering disturbing facts.[1]
