Where are West Virginia radio markets?
[edit]Are West Virginia radio markets solely located in the state of West Virginia, or do they cover any radio stations whose signals are received in West Virgina? As it stands, we've got Cumberland, MD as a West Virginia market, but a WikiNazi won't allow me to add any others outside the state. I want a definitive answer. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Orthodox hillbilly (talk • contribs) 05:18, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
- The West Virginia markets are where West Virginia stations fall in. No West Virginia stations fall in the Pittsburgh market. Stations like WELD-FM, WDYK, WQZK, WKLP just to name a few are located and licensed to West Virginia towns, but fall in the Cumberland market area, hence the Cumberland market is listed. Doesn't matter if Pittsburgh stations can be heard in WV. Hell, I can sit in Morgantown and hear WGAR from Cleveland doesn't mean Cleveland stations need to be on here. Also, you need to read WP:SOCK and WP:NPA. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 05:28, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
