[edit]If anybody is feeling up to it, this template needs to be tweaked to work properly for Template:USCongDistStateIL. Each link ends up redirecting from Illinois's to Illinois', and thus, when you're on an article, that article's entry doesn't show up in bold. --Interiot 21:06, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
- Done, I think. I just had to move two articles (Illinois's 6th congressional district and Illinois's 6th congressional district) which were Illinois' instead of Illinois's. —Markles 01:59, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well, there are two different issues. First issue, which I wasn't trying to address... Which is more correct, just apostrophe, or apostrophe S? From what I've been able to find, I guess they're both acceptable. If they really are almost equally correct, then WP:MOS says to not change them back and forth without a good reason.
- Second issue, the one I was trying to ask. If the tittles end up settling on the apostrophe-only version, then could someone tweak the template so its links go to the non-redirect version. I guess in the worst case, some settle on one spelling, others settle on the other, then Template:USCongDistStateIL will have to subst this template away, and hand-tweak the links. --Interiot 17:20, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
