Standard documentation

[edit]

Add {{documentation}}, the subpage already exists. — Christoph Päper 17:16, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Also reduced protection level, renamed, and some other stuff. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 17:33, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

commas

[edit]

Is it possible to have the template ignore commas, so they don't have to be stripped out by hand? We use this a lot in the language info boxes , and it would be nice if it would accept figures copied straight from our sources . — kwami (talk) 00:09, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It is. {{formatnum:|R}} strips out commas. I've added it. Jimp 09:04, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Perfect! Now people can paste from sources like Ethnologue without generating errors . — kwami (talk) 12:14, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Template-protected edit request on 14 May 2019

[edit]

This is a heavily used (sub)template, so the two utility template calls are invoked many many times. However, they are redirects, for no apparent reason. Please modify the calls to go directly to the target - {{rnd}}{{round}} and {{doc}}{{documentation}}, and so eliminate this unnecessary overhead. Colonies Chris (talk) 13:27, 14 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done however @Colonies Chris: I've converted this to use Template:Significant figures/rnd/doc that is not protected. Note, as this section was within a noinclude, the code section you referenced was not 'heavily used'. — xaosflux Talk 13:16, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
OK, thanks for clarifying that. Colonies Chris (talk) 13:42, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What is the /rnd subtemplate supposed to do?

[edit]

The examples on Template:Significant figures given don't seem to differ at all from what would be given by Template:Significant figures/rnd. Wizmut (talk) 10:33, 9 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
