Would anyone argue that the word "bad" is neutral point of view? Many of these images are nothing more than basic body parts and functions. Although some people apparently do fear the human body, that view is hardly universal. This needs to be renamed. 72.208.61.246 (talk) 16:49, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's just a shorthand. Few will see this outside of the relatively small group of editors involved in its use (yourself an obvious exception). Fishal (talk) 20:30, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed. Perhaps every picture of a woman should be tagged? (ones not wearing the Burqua at least) Pictures of women are indecent. 72.40.45.79 (talk) 08:40, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like it has since been renamed from "Badimage" to "Restricted use". See Wikipedia:WikiProject Graphical content problem for some old, but related discussion. -- œ 19:18, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Only about human anatomy?

[edit]

I think the language "such as in an article about human anatomy or physiology" should be removed because it reinforces the misconception that the Bad Image List is just a list of images that contain nudity. --WikiDonn (talk) 21:39, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
