– The color is by far the most notable use of the word pink. The color template would see much greater use if it was simply titled Template:Pink, since many users probably don't know this template exists at its current title since it adds an unnecessary disambiguation. - Support Alecia Beth Moore has commonly been presented as P!nk. GregKaye 04:16, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose/Support support moving the singer's template. oppose moving this template to "pink". Instead it should be called {{pink font}} or {{pink text}} , as that is what it does, it does not create a pink background, or navigate between articles about the color pink. -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 04:58, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
- Most of the other text color templates simply use the color name, so adding the word "font" "or "text" is unnecessary. ANDROS1337TALK 05:35, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
- The others should be moved to add font or text, as we have for the past while in a general trend been moving templates to descriptive grammatically correct names instead of having them at non-descriptive confusing ones. There's no reason why this one should not actually indicate what it is in its name. -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 04:35, 21 April 2015 (UTC)

- Support as proposed - much easier to use this way, versus a template which only needs to be added once per article and then never touched again. That's my take, at least. Red Slash 02:23, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
- Support. Current situation is ridiculous (and I'm guessing, engineered by fans of the singer). This is the logical and most practical solution, and consistent with naming of articles such as pink and Pink (singer) and other templates such as template:blue. Andrewa (talk) 22:23, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
