Rewording
[edit]The current notice seems somewhat standoffish. Addressing the notice to the editors making the changes in the first place would assume good faith, and encourage them to find more useful ways to contribute instead of shooing them away. I propose the following rewording:
"This article is a frequent target for editors to add a week-by-week synopsis of kayfabe events, unconfirmed information, rumors, and other content inappropriate to an encyclopedic article. Please make sure to familiarize yourself with what Wikipedia is not, and consider whether your additions to this article will serve to make the article larger and harder to edit for style, clarity, and grammar."

- I know it's been several months since you've typed this, and I apologize for not responding sooner. Yes, I think that your wording proposal for this tag is decidedly better than the wording that's currently being used. I think your proposal is more constructive and requires more experienced editors to assume good faith. The current tag assumes that only newcomers, with their eyes wide open, would dare add irrelevant material but experienced editors wouldn't. Everyone makes mistakes now and then (even those who have been around for awhile), and the thing is, if we can learn from those mistakes, all the better. A revised tag, per your suggestion (or very similar), would be very constructive and useful in helping all editors. [[Briguy52748 20:08, 19 December 2006 (UTC)]]
- Wow, I totally forgot about this. Alright, I'll make the change. --Sneftel 21:39, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
