Subst?
[edit]Hey! Any idea why this template needs substitution? It doesn't fill in any details such as signatures. ItsPugle (please ping on reply) 02:31, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

Please change "closes a deletion discussion" in the documentation to "closes a discussion". I have seen this template used on requests for comment and other talk page discussions. The linked essay WP:NAC is not only about deletion discussions either. --Sangdeboeuf (talk) 22:06, 24 June 2021 (UTC) Sangdeboeuf (talk) 22:06, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Sangdeboeuf: The template's documentation isn't protected, just so you know. Few templates' docs, if any, are. That said, Partly done. I worded it a bit differently so as not to imply that you should use the template with non-XfD closes, as that would be making policy by template documentation. -- Tamzin (she/they) | o toki tawa mi. 06:49, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
