Title or name?

I've added a tracking category (no need to create) to see if any articles are using the title parameter. If this category is empty in a few days we can replace it without breaking anything. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 15:32, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

Please use more up-to-date HTTPS URL for the NHL profile link

The purpose of this edit is to provide increased privacy and security for users by having the template generate an HTTPS link for the player's NHL profile and an HTTPS link for the main NHL site. For example, the URL http://www.nhl.com/ice/player.htm?id=8448974 (which is one of the sample output URLs) generates a 301 Moved Permanently redirect to https://www.nhl.com/player/8448974 which generates another 301 redirect to https://www.nhl.com/player/eddie-shack-8448974. In addition, the URL http://www.nhl.com/ generates a 302 Moved Temporarily redirect to https://www.nhl.com/.

In the template, please change http://www.nhl.com/ice/player.htm?id= to https://www.nhl.com/player/ instead and also please change http://www.nhl.com NHL.com to https://www.nhl.com NHL.com instead. Thanks. --Elegie (talk) 08:52, 21 April 2017 (UTC)
