Can the map be expanded

[edit]

So the European Commands aren't cluttered? Thanks. BlueD954 (talk) 02:59, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Noclador, Dormskirk would you guys be able to expand the map to make the commands less cluttered? Thanks. BlueD954 (talk) 07:42, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Not really my area of expertise, I am afraid. Best wishes. Dormskirk (talk) 08:39, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank You anyway. BlueD954 (talk) 08:52, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ssolbergj can the map be expanded or edited so the European commands can all be seen properly? Thanks BlueD954 (talk) 11:49, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that the commands in Europe are cluttered on the map, but not as bad as HQ SACT and JFC Norfolk, which share the same location. Woudsma (talk) 03:47, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unselect French Guyana and trim the map

[edit]

According to the NATO Treaty, NATO territory is limited to the member nations in Europe and North America. The file "NATO laea location map.svg" appears to suggest that French Guyana is part of the territory, which is wrong. This needs to be removed. When that happens, as a matter of fact, about 40 percent of the file can be trimmed off the bottom. Woudsma (talk) 03:41, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Limit selection to commands, remove other units

[edit]

The map not only shows commands, but also some miscellaneous units below the level of command. Therefore, I suggest to remove Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO (STRIKFORNATO) and NATO School. Remaining will be four yellow bullets for ACT and three centres, and eight red bullets for ACO with three JFCs, JSEC and three operational commands. Woudsma (talk) 03:46, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
