Purpose
[edit]Is this intended to be placed on every artist's article? If so, some discussion should probably take place first. DCEdwards1966 20:04, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- It is not intended for every artist's article. It is possible (though the chances are very slim) that this could happen, but it is not a case of all-or-nothing. The template can be used where possible; for example: there is a general music template but that does not mean that it features on every single classical or world music article, such as Piano Concerto No. 4 by Rachmaninoff. The template can be used where possible. It is up to editors to decide whether or not it is appropriate translude it into the articles they edit. Wiki edit Jonny (talk) 22:28, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
Removal from articles
[edit]Today, I removed this template from many different articles. My reasoning behind removing the template is that it is a navigational template. If an article is not wikilinked on a template then the template does not need to be on the article page. Aspects (talk) 22:42, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- Ohh okay, I didn't know that. So do I need to wikilink the articles into which it's intended to be transcluded? How do I do that? Thanks, Aspects — Wiki edit Jonny (talk) 09:43, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
Concord
[edit]Where would Concord Music go in the template? Independent? 173.93.207.154 (talk) 01:59, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
