Adding more events
[edit]The term biennale is used for a wide range of recurrent events focussed on contemporary art. At the moment the list presents only events which happens every two years; this excludes major events – such as Documenta in Kassel – which are normally included in the lists of biennials. If you are ok i would suggest to add also those recurrent events which do not happen every two year. A reference can be for example the list provided by http://www.biennialfoundation.org/biennial-map/. I am not sure making specific lists for events which happen every 3 or 5 years makes much sense. --Iopensa (talk) 14:37, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- Actually I added the events on the basis of the definition in the article Biennale which stated that - Biennale is Italian for "every other year" and can be used to describe any event that happens every two years. Moreover, I did not see the name of documenta in the list given in that page. This is the reason why I refrained from adding documenta. Waiting to hear more from you about it. Thank You for sharing that link. It can be of great help to us. Thanks a lot by the way for that barnstar . - Jayadevp13 16:05, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
Expanding this template
[edit]Per the comment above regarding Documenta, it might be more useful to list recurring art festivals than to limit ourselves to those which are biennial. Would anyone object to transitioning this template? — HTGS (talk) 04:52, 9 February 2023 (UTC)
