Template talk:Link databank beschermd erfgoed
Appearance
Purpose
[edit]Really need documentation so we can understand what this template is supposed to do. I checked a few articles such as List of protected heritage sites in Alken, Belgium and none of the links are valid. --— Gadget850 (Ed) talk 14:46, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
- I'm sorry to hear that! As I recall, I made these templates just to conform with the row template for Belgian heritage sites on the Dutch (or French, can't remember which) wikipedia. If you care about it, go ahead and see if you can repair it. It used to give a link to the data on the heritage site, often including photo's of various aspects and links to other literature. - And I just tested one of the links on the page you mentioned and it seems to still work for me. I don't think it's in my cache, because I haven't clicked on each of these links and I just chose one at random. Jane (talk) 16:49, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
- Here are all the unique uses from that page: Ja Ja Ja Ja I get an error page on all of these. [1] --— Gadget850 (Ed) talk 17:19, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hmm. I just tested the links you gave me and they are not 404 errors, but resolve to a page describing the databank itself. I misunderstood you and thought you meant the links in the far right column, which seem to work. These links indeed do not seem to give any more information than what is in the site link, so they should be scrapped. You can go ahead and just take the links out, and "Ja" needs to be translated to "Yes". Alternatively it is probably easier to just delete that column entirely from the row template, since it doesn's seem to be all that useful now. Jane (talk) 18:45, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
