Line

[edit]

What is everyone's opinion on adding the line to the template (as an optional param of course)?↔NMajdantalk 15:41, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It only stops at 3OT? can we make it more

[edit]

What a shame, I wanted the box score for Boise-Nevada's record-breaking 69-67 (most points in a D-IA game ever) game to reflect the 4OTs but it won't work, it stops at 3OT. Thus I'm now sticking with the rather lame combined points for OT in one box. Can we fix this? --Bobak 18:47, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done.↔NMajdantalk 20:27, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Hopefully we won't have another 7OT game anytime soon. --Bobak (talk) 00:03, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral location

[edit]

What if the teams play at a neutral location? Home and Road then don't really apply since they are both on the road. Brianreading (talk) 03:59, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Technically, in every game played in a neutral location that I have observed (including Super Bowls and College Bowl game), there is always one club officially designated as the visiting team for coin toss purposes, and the other club officially designated as the home team who gets to pick whether they want to wear their colored or white jerseys. Mod for historical "two-halves" football games?

[edit]

Copying this request that I also posted on the gamepage template talk, but still relevant for linescore templates.

If you go back far enough, football games were two halves, not four quarters. I've gotten around this by installing HTML-tables in the articles (amateur, I know) to mimic this template, with just three columns for scores (1-2-Total). I'm no template-writing guru, but is there a way to toggle the 3rd and 4th quarter fields to hide for these cases - if not, can this ability be added? Fjbfour (talk) 05:25, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
