Compute for earth?

Hi,

This template would simplify lots of pages. However, could it be updated to return the same results as Great Circle Mapper (GCM)?^[1] For Perth to Brisbane it computes 3,613 km. This template returns 3,608 (that is, 5 km less). GCM’s FAQs say distances are computed for elipsoid not sphere. Betterkeks (talk) 00:55, 10 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
