It was proposed in this section that Template:English language sidebar be renamed and moved to Template:English language.

Not moved. See below that there is some controversy connected with this contested move request. There seems to be wide usage of "sidebar" in the titles of sidebar templates. Template:English language sidebar → Template:English language – because someone didn't move {{English language}} back to {{History of English}} and {{English language (version 2)}} and their respective talk pages properly today. The reason I'm requesting a move back to {{English language}} is because I didn't realise my previous move request would be controversial, so this one shouldn't be. --PK2 (talk) 20:09, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like pings don't work when starting RMs ... strange. My objection was purely procedural, as RMT should only be used for uncontroversial requests: I believe there were comments by BilCat somewhere, but now I cannot find it. Sdrqaz (talk) 15:23, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
