Please change the political flag from the green one to File:Hamas Emblem Flag White Variant with Colored Emblem.svg per these images [1] [2] and many others online and keep the green flag as the Qassam brigades flag

Completed. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 01:46, 24 October 2024 (UTC)- This is problematic. The white flag is barely in use, and the green flag is everywhere (just google "Hamas flag"). Hezbollah too has an "official" flag that is hardly ever used. Mikrobølgeovn (talk) 05:17, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- Wdym "barely used"? it is the official flag of the Hamas political party. People using the brigade's flag as Hamas's official flag is wrong. Plus the official flag is to be used by officials of Hamas, the same way the State flag of a country is to be used only by the government or how a presidential flag of a country is to be used by the president
- Abo Yemen✉ 05:25, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Paine Ellsworth could you change the armed forces flag to the green version? Abo Yemen✉ 14:22, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- Reverted: yes, and as it turns out, the above comments indicate some controversy surrounding this flag change, so I'm compelled to revert the edit and ask for a consensus to be achieved. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 17:54, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- So we're just going to revert the actual flag cus someone made a baseless claim? Abo Yemen✉ 18:01, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry that I do not share your certainty. If the claim made by editor Mikrobølgeovn is baseless, then you should have no trouble garnering consensus. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 18:14, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- Adding to my earlier comment: How do we know that the flag with the emblem is the "official" flag, and not just a way to display the emblem next to the green flag? Mikrobølgeovn (talk) 19:18, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- because if you actually opened the images, you wouldn't find a green flag in the first place Abo Yemen✉ 05:42, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
