Please add one line:
| name alias-football = Bosnia-Herzegovina
because this is the official name used by FIFA and UEFA for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Maiō T. (talk) 23:58, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
Please add one more line:
| altvar = {{{altvar|}}}
because "name-alias" is not working without this line. Thanks !!! Maiō T. (talk) 10:43, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

- This change has come under scrutiny at WT:FOOTY#Bosnia & Herzegovina. Furthermore, the assertion that FIFA and UEFA use the name "Bosnia-Herzegovina" is wrong. FIFA clearly use "Bosnia and Herzegovina", as do UEFA. Please change it back. – PeeJay 20:45, 30 March 2015 (UTC)

See this picture from December 2013. Maybe the name was changed again in 2015. Maiō T. (talk) 17:49, 9 April 2015 (UTC)- Maybe so. Or they had to use a shortened version for the draw graphics to make the name fit in the allotted space. Either way, we have reliable sources (i.e. the current versions of the FIFA and UEFA websites) that say "Bosnia and Herzegovina". – PeeJay 18:30, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

Remove:
flag alias-1998 = Flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina (WFB 2000).jpg
flag alias-2004 = Flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina (WFB 2004).gif
and
var2 = 1998
var3 = 2004
These flags are just based on the shades used in pictures in different editions of the CIA World Factbook and are not official or even real changes to the flag used by Bosnia, they should not be included and especially not linked to specific years as historical variants. Since they will revert to the default flag, anything linked to them will not be broken. Havsjö (talk) 10:44, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
