Template:Uns-ip/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Usage

[edit]

One of many templates available to sign for an anon that didn't give their signature.

Similar to {{Unsigned IP}}, a signing template that produces the IP followed by (talk) and date, this template also gives links to the user's contributions and a WHOIS lookup.

Parameters

[edit]
  1. The IP: the four- or six-digit numerical computer address (this can be found by going to the page's history and clicking Revision history search for WikiBlame)
  2. Time and date: the datestamp from the edit history, should be labeled as UTC

Examples

[edit]

Typing {{subst:Uns-ip|127.0.0.1|23:23, 1 May 2007 (UTC)}}

will yield: — Preceding unsigned comment added by 127.0.0.1 (talkcontribsWHOIS) 23:23, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
