Usage

This template can add a label to a wikilink to obtain a better readable link. We can use this to create this link:
[[Demotic (Egyptian)|Egyptian demotic]]

• Without label: [[{{ISO 15924/wp-article|Egyd}}]] → Demotic (Egyptian)

• With label: [[{{ISO 15924/wp-article|Egyd}}{{ISO 15924/wp-article/label|Egyd}}]] → Egyptian demotic

Details

By default the pipe symbol is added when a label exists. Setting the option add pipe=no will return no pipe.

When no label is needed (the page name is good right away), the template returns a blank:

• No label needed: [[{{tlx|ISO 15924/wp-article|Latn}}{{tlx|ISO 15924/wp-article/label|Latn}}]] → Latin script

ISO updates

• The ISO 15924 list of script codes is updated regularly, usually at least once a year. The current list is complete as of 12 September 2023, and defines 223 codes (code, number, script name).

• As of 24 September 2023, this template contains 271 ISO 15924 script codes. All are paired in both forms Xxxx and 123 (Alpha-4 and numerical). This 271 includes 50 distinct Qxxx codes. Some ISO-defined codes may have no ISO name, and/or may not be Unicode-defined.
