Texas State Federation of Labor
[edit]- ... that the Texas State Federation of Labor only affiliated with the American Federation of Labor in 1903 to avoid conflict with the railroad brotherhoods?

- Article is new enough and above the minimum character limit. Article is neutral enough and cites its sources, with the exception of the information on the disestablishment which only appears in the lede and is not cited. I also have some doubts regarding the comprehensiveness of the article, the foundation is well-covered but there is no information on the TSFL's actual accomplishments or activities. The source cited for the hook is not available, so I'm assuming good faith on copyright violations and the accuracy of the hook. Hook formatting is correct and the hook itself is interesting, neutral and cited. No QPQ required. All in all this one is almost good to go, I would just like to see the citation for the disestablishment and if possible some more expansion. Crispulop (talk) 11:31, 6 December 2015 (UTC)
- I've added a reference to the date of disestablishment in the lead (or lede). The source for the information on the hook is here, if you need the exact pages for the information that is here. I agree that the content of the article is basic, I was planning this as a start class article and on adding more comprehensive information about its activities after doing more research. (Uh, why is there not signature tap on this DYK page?) Bellerophon5685 (talk)
