Take Back the Night
[edit]... that music critics have compared Justin Timberlake's new single, "Take Back the Night", to that of Michael Jackson's Off the Wall?
Created/expanded by Status (talk), Tomica (talk). Nominated by Status (talk) at 21:25, 14 July 2013 (UTC).
- News that Timberlake could face legal action over the song titles seems like a better hook. The information about it will be added tomorrow. — Statυs (talk, contribs) 23:42, 14 July 2013 (UTC)
- There's something wrong with the hook's structure: it's comparing a single to an album. The comparison needs to be of similar things, and something of interest in the comparison would be nice as well. Can an ALT please be proposed? Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:11, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
- ALT1: ... that the anti-rape organization, Take Back the Night Foundation, has expressed concerns about the similarities in the title between their organization and Justin Timberlake's song, "Take Back the Night"?
- I'm sorry, but changing an already reviewed hook really shouldn't be done. New hooks should be listed as ALTs. For the record, what I've done is placed Status's new "changed" hook below his "Whoops" entry, labeled as ALT1; the original hook has been restored in place so SL93's review and my comment about the hook structure clearly refer to the actual hook we were writing about. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:40, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
- New ALT1 hook needs to be reviewed. BlueMoonset (talk) 14:11, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
- The ALT1 hook is awkwardly worded. As there is a pending move for both the event/foundation and the song, it might be best to wait until that is decided. Gobōnobō + c 20:26, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
- ALT2: ... that anti-rape organization Take Back the Night has expressed concerns over Justin Timberlake's song of the same name?
Sounds good to me. — Statυs (talk, contribs) 18:29, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
- Apologies. I moved this page to Take Back the Night (song) per an RM, but I didn't realize it was under DYK consideration. --BDD (talk) 17:40, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for posting here. I've adjusted this template page accordingly (no one should rename this template page!), including the active hooks, and we're all set. BlueMoonset (talk) 20:22, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
