Mayfield Mall
[edit]- ... that Mayfield Mall, now a Google office building, was the first air-conditioned enclosed mall in Northern California?
- Reviewed: Juan Astigarrabía

- This article was created on October 2, it is long enough, and QPQ is satisfied. The hook is under 200 characters, interesting, and the claim is substantiated by an inline citation. This nomination is very close to passing, but there are still some unsourced statements in this article that need be supported by inline citations. Specifically, the following claims need to be supported by a citation:
- The claim that Palo Alto annexed the land in 1925
- The claim that Google is the second large tech company to convert a former shopping mall to offices -- the Bloomberg source says
"Google joins Rackspace Hosting Inc. in using a former shopping mall for office space"
, but it does not say Google was the second to do so.
- Once those claims are supported by inline citations, I can go ahead and approve the nomination. Best, -- Notecardforfree (talk) 06:13, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- The first claim is backed by the Palo Alto article, and it wasn't specifically that the land the mall sat on was part of the old Mayfield, but I've added a citation there anyway. I've altered the wording on the second claim. It should be good now. Raymie (t • c) 06:10, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the prompt follow up -- my apologies for missing the information about the annexation in the Palo Alto HRE. Now that all issues have been resolved, this is good to go. Best, -- Notecardforfree (talk) 06:20, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
