Allied (film)
[edit]- ... that the upcoming film Allied, scripted by Steven Knight, is based on the true story personally told to Knight at the age of 21?

Soon. The Burns Cage - Comment: Actually it was merged on April 1 by User:Czar so it won't show that in the history.

- Article is long enough and posted by due date. Hook is interesting, cited and verified. No copy vio noted. Text is neutral. QPQ is awaited to give a green tick.Nvvchar. 01:52, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
- @Nvvchar: Sorry for late, QPQ's done. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 08:52, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks. QPQ done. GTG.Nvvchar. 01:47, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
- I came by to promote this, but am having trouble understanding the page history. I don't see any move of a page from draft space to mainspace. Instead, I see that the character count before expansion began on April 1 was 578 char. As of April 25 it is 1842 char. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this does not appear to qualify for a 5x expansion. Yoninah (talk) 22:34, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
- Yoninah, Czar's confirmation of the move from Draft space is here, on April 1 (the movie had a different title then; the move to Allied is in the history). There appears to have been a merge of the Draft with another, shorter article, that had been created on March 31, so with one part going from Draft to mainspace on April 1 and the other part started on March 31, I think it does count as new. What might have happened is that Czar went to move the Draft to mainspace and found another article already parked there, so he merged the histories. You can always check with Czar if you wish. - @Yoninah, the article was created on March 31 and bypassed the existing draft, which I histmerged on April 1. All in all, well within the DYK time requirements since this was nominated the same day. Thanks for the ping, @BlueMoonset czar 00:38, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
