Allan McLean (philanthropist), McLean's Mansion
[edit]- ... that a 78-year old bachelor had a 53-room mansion (pictured) built for him in Christchurch, New Zealand?
- Comment: The article on the building is new, and the article on the person is expanded.

- Such good articles should not have waited this long to be reviewed. The article about the bachelor has been sufficiently expanded and the article about the mansion is new enough, and both of them are very well sourced. I've made a couple of minor edits but the prose is great overall. The Copyvio Detector shows no copyright violations. The hook is very "hooky"; I, for one, had to click to see which bachelor was it that needed a 53-room mansion! Have you reviewed two other nominations, though? I don't see it and I am not sure that you are exempt from the review requirement. I am ready to approve as soon as that is sorted out. Surtsicna (talk) 15:17, 23 July 2013 (UTC)
