Improving this article

[edit]

There's alot to be done here from a quick glance. This article is undersourced for one. But this, to me, seems the biggest problem:

A list of players who have fueled the rivalry by playing for both teams (add to this list)
   * Tommy John
   * Steve Howe
   * Steve Sax
   * Willie Randolph
   * Darryl Strawberry
   * Kenny Lofton
   * Wilson Betemit (Active)
   * Ricky Ledee
   * Gary Sheffield (Active)
   * Raul Mondesi
   * Kevin Brown
   * Todd Zeile
   * Alan Mills
   * Jeff Weaver (Active)
   * Antonio Osuna
   * David Wells
   * Angel Berroa (Active)
   * Scott Proctor
   * Doug Mientkiewicz
   * Esteban Loaiza
   * Robin Ventura
   * Jose Vizcaino
   * Rick Rhoden
   * Stan Williams
   * Chan Ho Park (Active )

Okay yes, these are the players who have played for both teams. But is this important? Angel Berroa, for instance, added "fuel to the fire"? I'll change that language for starters, but I don't know if it's important that these guys played for both teams at all. --Muboshgu (talk) 17:11, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

After thinking about it, I deleted it. It's not important who played for both teams. Stengel and Torre can be incorporated in the prose. --Muboshgu (talk) 18:14, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The Yankees-Red Sox rivalry and the Yankees-Mets rivalry has lists similar to this one. They included who won WS for both teams. I would suggest putting this back in as the other articles do have it too. It's good information to have and since wiki doesn't like trivia sections, it seems appropriate. I do agree it needs to be formatted better. Arnabdas (talk) 17:34, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
